Who we are
Seby ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian AI services practice that deploys AI operating systems inside businesses. We operate the Seby Agent, a Slack and Microsoft Teams integration that helps teams automate proposals, operations, and knowledge work.
What data we collect
- Workspace data: When you install the Seby Agent in Slack or Teams, we receive your workspace name, team ID, and the bot token scopes you authorize (messages in channels the bot is invited to, slash command inputs, and files shared with the bot).
- Message content: We process messages directed to the Seby Agent (mentions and DMs) to generate responses. We do not read or store messages in channels the bot has not been invited to.
- Contact information: Name and email of the workspace admin who installs the app, used for support and billing communication.
How we use your data
- To provide and improve the Seby Agent service.
- To respond to your requests and commands.
- To communicate service updates and support.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models outside your workspace.
Data storage and security
Your data is processed on Cloudflare Workers (edge compute) and stored in Cloudflare-managed infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized Seby team members.
Data retention
We retain workspace data for the duration of your subscription. When you uninstall the Seby Agent or request deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@seby.com.au. Australian Privacy Principle (APP) rights apply.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate:
- Cloudflare (hosting, compute, DNS)
- Anthropic (AI model provider -- Claude)
- Slack and Microsoft (platform integrations)
- PostHog (product analytics)
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via your registered email or through the Seby Agent.
